Shawn and I met while we were both attending the Occupational Therapy Assistant program starting in 2012. We started as friends, in which developed as more in July-August of 2013. Shawn asked me to be his girlfriend during an Anberlin concert in October, making us "official". We have our trials and tribulations as any other couple, but we are a couple who value the relationship we are in, as well as working it out when things are not "perfect". Our communication is what gets us through the worst and best days, as well as our deep love for each other.
We were never planning on having a child so quickly into our relationship, but she arrived a year and a month just after our anniversary. However, we would never consider our daughter a "mistake". Our love for our daughter has only grown our love for each other and we now have a family of three instead of a relationship of two.
